LETC is a fast-paced shooting school that equips you with the tools needed to give your department or agency the next level in training.

HOW IT WORKS & EXPECTED COURSES
LETC takes place over five days, with four days of full instruction. As we get closer to August we will notify attendees on how to choose your four subject-specific classes (one each day) from a multitude of options. These classes are taught by world-class instructors with backgrounds in every aspect of firearms training.
AS EXAMPLE – BELOW ARE COURSES OFFERED LAST YEAR
Instructor: Mike Clark- VirTra/Victory First
Training Details:
- Duty belt to include service pistol with a Pistol Mounted Red Dot Sight (PMRDS)
- Ear and Eye protection
- 3 magazines

Instructor: Kyle Schmid- Tempe PD, Arizona
Training Details:
This class will focus on Advanced Training Techniques used to create highly skilled and competent shooters. This is a combination of Training Techniques and Philosophies combined from both the Law Enforcement Instructing and Competitive Shooting.
This class is designed for the instructor, but provides a great perspective for those who just want to learn how to improve their own skill.
In this class we will also explain why you don’t understand shooting if you are saying (or believe) any of the following incorrect/misleading shooting phrases:
- Slow is smooth, smooth is fast
- Focus on the front sight
- Preeessss
- Slow down
- Don’t jerk the trigger
- Equal light, equal height
- Practice makes perfect
- Shooting is 90% mental

- Proper tactics, techniques, and strategies that Officers can use.
- How does the OODA loop affect the patrolman vs. suspect.
- Setting a perimeter around the structure.
- Recognizing a barricaded subject and having plans in place for emergencies.
