FEATURES

SAFE & BALLISTIC

AR500 steel baffles capture errant rounds, reduce ricochets and splatter, and shield overhead lighting, electrical, HVAC, and structural elements to keep rounds contained inside the range.

MODULAR & DURABLE

Heavy-duty AR500 panels with 1/4″, 3/8″, or 1/2″ thickness options are arranged in a modular layout that can be scaled, repaired, or upgraded without disrupting the rest of the system

EFFORTLESS MAINTENANCE

A vertical Z-furring design directs spent material and debris downrange, making it easier for staff to clean, inspect, and maintain the range without specialized tools or shutdowns.

ACOUSTIC CONTROL

Multiple fascia options—such as PEPP, acoustic panels, wood fiber, and SureStop™ rubber—provide high-performance sound absorption to reduce noise levels and improve communication on the line.

CONFIGURABLE

Supports fixed firing line and tactical layouts, indoor or outdoor applications, and can be customized to match your specific bay length, lane spacing, and mission profile.

MEETS RANGE STANDARDS

Designed to exceed UFC-4-179-02 requirements and support structural certification when needed, helping range owners meet stringent military and law-enforcement specifications.

CEILING BAFFLE DESIGN

ShieldPro™ Ceiling Baffles are engineered as a layered overhead barrier that controls splatter, protects critical infrastructure, and manages noise in high-round-count shooting ranges. Their patent-pending geometry, vertical Z-furring, and acoustic fascia work together to keep bullets, fragments, and sound energy where they belong—inside the range envelope.

  • ShieldPro™ Lite mounts directly to your building structure for a streamlined install on standard, fixed firing line ranges.

  • ShieldPro™ Plus uses wide-span panels to extend coverage for large tactical bays and expansive layouts.

  • Both configurations use AR500 steel plates with engineered deflection angles to stop errant rounds, contain splatter, and protect ceiling-mounted equipment.

  • Vertical Z-furring creates a controlled air gap that allows bullets to splatter and fragment safely inside the system.

  • Integrated geometry directs spent material downrange for predictable, easier cleanup and inspection.

  • Secure mounting of fascia and steel panels eliminates the need for field welding, simplifying installation and service.

  • Sound-reducing fascia options—including PEPP, acoustic panels, wood fiber, and SureStop™ Rubber—help control noise and improve shooter comfort and communication.

  • Fascia materials are designed to trap and contain bullet splatter while preserving the ballistic integrity of the steel plate behind them.

  • SureStop™ Rubber fascia can also be directly applied to the face of the steel baffle plate without the vertical Z-furring configuration, providing a streamlined, durable solution.

CONFIGURATIONS & RANGE APPLICATIONS

ShieldPro™ Ceiling Baffles are available in fixed and tactical configurations so overhead protection can be matched to the way each bay is actually used—from structured qualification lines to fully dynamic training and scenario work. Every configuration is designed to enhance safety, protect infrastructure, and support high utilization of the range.

  • Optimized for pistol and rifle lines where shooters stand or work from a bench, providing consistent overhead protection across each lane.

  • Helps shield lights, HVAC, target carriers, and finished ceilings from high shots and muzzle rise, reducing unplanned repairs and downtime.

  • Establishes a clear safety envelope that simplifies range rules, supports risk management, and builds confidence for shooters and staff.

  • Extends overhead coverage to support prone, kneeling, and seated positions without reconfiguring the bay.

  • Enables more advanced rifle and precision work to be conducted in the same space used for everyday fixed-line training.

  • Maintains a continuous protected profile in all firing positions, helping reduce liability while supporting realistic, position-based shooting.

  • Tactical baffles create a continuous safety canopy over movement, lateral transitions, and multi-position drills.

  • Supports a broad range of training styles, from structured drills to complex, scenario-based evolutions using props, barricades, and vehicles.

  • Protects high-value overhead infrastructure across large open bays, allowing frequent reconfiguration as training needs and mission sets evolve.
