Action Target, a wholly owned subsidiary of Safety Training Solutions, is headquartered in Provo, Utah. Since 1986, we’ve helped transform how shooting ranges are designed, built, and sustained, beginning with a pneumatic turning-target system developed for the Provo Police Department’s training curriculum. That first project led to advanced work in armor steel and a portfolio of unique, patented range technologies. Originally created for law enforcement, our solutions now serve the military, as well as commercial, residential, and specialty markets. We design, build, equip, and sustain mission-ready ranges, start to finish. From design drawings through manufacturing and installation, we deliver turnkey and custom ranges, tactical shoot houses, and portable steel targets, with integrated software, target systems, stalls, bullet containment, and ongoing training and service.
We began in law enforcement, expanded to military agencies, and later entered commercial and specialty markets—supporting academies, private facilities, and mission-specific sites with solutions sized to each mission, budget, and throughput.
