Michael Birch – CEO
Michael Birch joined Action Target as the Chief Executive Officer in February 2014. Prior to this, Birch worked as a Vice President and General Manager at Boart Longyear, the world’s largest mineral exploration drilling company. While at Boart Longyear, Birch was responsible for their core business which included $1.5 billion in revenue, more than 8000 employees, and 1200 drilling rigs operating in 40 countries. He was also a member of an executive team responsible for $2.3 billion IPO of Boart Longyear on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Birch began his career at Black & Decker where he worked in varying sales and marketing leadership positions, culminating in his assignment as a General Manager over Baldwin Hardware. While at Black & Decker, Birch was also a part of a leadership team that launched the DeWalt Industrial Power Tool brand in the U.S. and Europe. The DeWalt story is now a case study used by the best business schools across the country. Birch received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
Mike Halloran – Vice President and CFO
Michael M. Halloran joined Action Target as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in March 2011. Prior to this he was with Otix Global, Inc., from April 1999 as Corporate Controller, subsequently promoted to Vice President in December 2002 and then Chief Financial Officer in July 2006. Mr. Halloran began his career at Ernst & Young in their New York Metro region, where he worked from 1985 to 1994, rising to Senior Audit Manager. From 1994 to 1999, he held various senior positions at C.R. Bard, a large medical device company, based in New Jersey. Mr. Halloran has earned a Certified Public Accountant licensure and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from State University of New York at Oswego.
Robin Hansen – Vice President of Global Sales
Robin Hansen currently serves as the Vice President of Global Sales for Action Target, where he oversees sales across the law enforcement, military, international and commercial markets. Hansen joined Action Target in November 2009 as the European Sales Manger. He then was appointed VP of Sales & Marketing, and in March 2014 Hansen was promoted to Vice President of Global Sales.
Kevin Tomaszewski – Vice President of Engineering & Marketing
Mr. Kevin Tomaszewski joined Action Target in March 2014 as Vice President of Engineering and Marketing. During his career he spent over 17 years in progressive leadership roles with market-leading corporations such as Black & Decker, Cooper Industries (Eaton) and Boart Longyear where he gained significant experience in consumer and industrial products supporting residential and commercial construction, energy and mining markets.
Prior to joining Action Target, Mr. Tomaszewski was employed by Boart Longyear in South Jordan, Utah for over five years where he held various senior management positions of increasing responsibility in both Drilling Products and Drilling Services divisions including Global Director of Strategy and Business Development, General Manager USA Surface Core Drilling and Global Director Marketing and Communications.
Formerly he was employed by Cooper Industries and Black & Decker where he also established expertise in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Business Development and Commercial Strategy. Mr. Tomaszewski is a graduate of Black & Decker’s Manufacturing Management Development Program and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
Kyle Burdette – Vice President of Quality Management
Kyle Burdette currently serves as the Vice President of Quality Management for Action Target, where he manages the customer service and technical support, range design, installation, and project management departments. Mr. Burdette has been with Action Target for more than 20 years and previously held the position of Director of Marketing. Prior to joining Action Target, Burdette spent three years as an advertising manager for a publishing company in Utah. Mr. Burdette received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Brigham Young University.
